The biopharmaceutical industry represents a common competitive advantage shared by the three major zones of Jiangsu’s Free Trade Pilot Zone. The Nanjing zone is accelerating the development of “City of Genes,” while the Suzhou zone ranks first nationwide in terms of competitiveness within the biopharmaceutical industry, and the Lianyungang zone ranks among the top in the country for scientific and technological innovation output in the biopharmaceutical sector. The “Policy Measures” focus on the common strengths of the biopharmaceutical industry that are being prioritized for development across the three zones of Jiangsu’s Free Trade Pilot Zone, emphasizing systematic integration, coordinated collaboration, and open innovation.
